Amanda Bynes Nose Job: Why The Actress Couldn't Be Happier With Her Plastic Surgery
With Amanda Bynes' recent descent into lunacy, few were surprised when the 27-year-old retired actress announced her new nose job.
On her Twitter account, Bynes admitted to undergoing plastic surgery in order to remove "webbing" around her eyes.
"I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes," the former Nickelodeon star confessed to her social media followers.
"I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don't want old photos used anymore!"
Bynes also expressed concerns in a recent tirade over photos used in a magazine spread that she claims misportray her current public image.
"The reason I've asked all magazines and blogs to stop using old photos of me is I don't look like that anymore!" she added.
"I'm so sick of magazines and blogs using old photos! When will they stop? I will never look like that again! "
Rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, is the most common form of elective plastic surgery and requires an incision between the nostrils to realign the tip of the nose and the nasal bone.
Surgery is generally performed to resolve a preexisting birth defect, relieve obstructed breathing, increase or decrease nose size, or alter the shape of the nose.
So what does the eccentric Hollywood socialite think of her new nose?
"Having surgery was the most amazing thing for my confidence!"
