Sex Sent Me To The ER: Couple's Vibrator Use At Supermarket Causes Woman To Slip And Hit Head
Couples may go to great lengths to please their partners and satisfy their utmost sexual desires. One valiant young couple, Ashley and Dennis, decided to turn up the heat during a trip to the supermarket by using one of the most risqué sex toys — a remote-control vibrator. The raunchy couple soon learned it’s better to keep grocery shopping and sex separate after Ashley slipped and hit her head on the way down, sending her to the emergency room.
“I had no idea when my pants were going to start buzzing next,” Ashley told TLC’s Sex Sent Me to the ER, in the new episode clip. (The show uses actors to reenact the scene.) The couple admitted before this incident they hadn’t experimented with sex toys to this degree. "We never used any toys like this before," Dennis told The Stir’s Adriana Velez. Since the vibrator was wireless, the couple felt they could be sneaky but discreet, indulging in a “mischief thing.”
Ashley’s boyfriend admitted to having the “best time” watching her feel pleasure. So, he seized his chance and turned on the adult toy when Ashley ran into a chatty friend at the supermarket. “She’s just going on and on,” Ashley said. “Little does she know that I’m, like... getting close to this point.”
After Ashley's friend left, Dennis decided to switch on the vibrator yet again, but this time things were headed south for the couple. Ashley recalled she was staring at one apple for way too long and realized, “Wow, this is getting really intense.” Shortly after, the woman slipped, fell, and hit her head on the way down. Dennis quickly approached Ashley and asked her, “Wow, was it good?” But he soon realized she was hurt and needed to be rushed to the ER.
Sex accidents like this Dennis and Ashley's send victims to the ER twice a week, according to Dr. Jordan Moskoff, medical consultant on the TLC show.
